Alvik is an energy packed combination of new genres arranged and performed by some of the best young musicians in Europe. Alvik is a Prague based group which has recently leapt onto the world scene and turned ears toward their unusual mix of acoustic and electric while spanning a diverse range of styles. Alvik got their start in the small clubs of Prague with their jazzy grooves that cross-over into electro, dance, and even abstract hip hop and drum n' bass. The heart of their sound rests in their acoustic grooves with a skilled hand on double bass and drums. Add to that melodic keyboards and synths and biting flute licks raised to the next level by a smooth and soulful vocal dance across the rythms.
