"4hero present a compilation of original previously unreleased cover versions of their music, reinterpreted by a selection of hand picked artists. When presented with the idea of doing another remix album they felt a need to do something new and fresh, rather than calling up the usual remix suspects and getting dance floor club mixes 4hero have put together an album that would happily sit on the shelf of a 4hero fan. For this project they’ve sought out a range of forward thinking outfits, orchestra's & producers including some new discoveries to cover their music. 4hero played their part in the music supervision including some recording, mixing and co producing tracks on the album making the project that much more special to the 4hero fan base. The result is cinematic and dynamic in structure and styles. 4hero are well known for pioneering new electronic music genres including Jungle/D&B, Broken Beat and Nu Jazz. The “Extensions” recordings are the best way to define Nu Jazz."

Fran Kapelle : Vocals/Lyrics worked as a session & backing singer with many artists such as Brian Kennedy,Ian Shaw, An Emotional Fish,Eddie Reader, Mary Coughlan, Carol Grimes, the Film 'the Commitments' as well as running her own dance label. Terry Pack : Double Bass www.terrypackbass.co.uk Previously bass player with The Enid, numerous session work with many artists/genres, including Johhny Marrs, and some of the best UK & European jazz artists.His own cd "what happens now" available on Symbol. The Arcs have appeared on the 'best of' for Future Music magazine, and played support to bands such as Olive, The Cranes, as well as headlining themselves, at many venues incl The Powerhaus, Create Festival etc. They have been commissioned to write music both for the theatre and contemporary dance, and have had their works performed at The Riverside Theatre in London, other london and S.E England theatres, and in Milan. The Loop Dance Co, also performed to their works, and the Arcs have also written and performed at Art Installations/festivals

Стиль Shpongle как раз тем и характеризуется, что это не столько произведение в каком-то жанре, сколько выраженный в музыке, скажем так, поток сознания. По всей видимости, к началу XXI века технологии создания музыкальных композиций дошли до того рубежа, когда по желанию автора можно синтезировать абсолютно любой звук и использовать его абсолютно любым образом, не ограничиваясь никакими физическими рамками типа количества струн у гитары. Что придумал - то и сделал. А люди типа участников проекта Shpongle, героически прошедших через многочисленные рейвы, придумывают что-то в этом плане постоянно, у них, можно сказать, в голове всё время раздаются диковинные инструменты и голоса.
